Your OFBO FAQs Answered
Since 2020, Open for Business Oklahoma (OFBO) has been dedicated to protecting the business-friendly environment that led our members to Oklahoma.
New to OFBO? We have answers to your questions.
What is OFBO?
For decades, policymakers have written and passed legislation to encourage companies to operate in Oklahoma; as a result, businesses of all sizes have invested here, bringing innovation and jobs to communities throughout the Sooner State. OFBO is a 501(c)(6) professional association for companies who have located substantial resources and personnel in Oklahoma, even though the company may be headquartered elsewhere.
Our member services include: legislative advocacy, policy monitoring and updates, communications support, legal support, advocacy training and more.
While OFBO businesses are headquartered out of state, businesses are composed of proud Oklahomans dedicated to their local communities. Through the We are Oklahoma Initiative—designed to demonstrate OFBO members’ commitment to the communities in which they work, live and grow—members have banded together to organize school supply drives and create virtual STEAM curriculum for kids.
Who is involved?
OFBO membership encompasses more than 14 businesses, which employ more than 1,000 Oklahomans. Member companies include Atkins, Garver, Benham, Freese and Nichols, Halff, Aguirre & Fields, STV, Kimley-Horn and Olsson.
