OFBO Benefits You Might Not Be Using (But Should Be)
Your Open for Business Oklahoma membership delivers on more than just networking and advocacy perks. It also includes practical tools and opportunities designed to help grow your organization. If it’s been a while since you’ve taken a closer look at what OFBO has to offer, now is a great time to revisit some member benefits you may be overlooking.
Tap into Oklahoma talent with the Job Board. Finding the right people can be a challenge. The OFBO Job Board was created to make that process easier, by connecting professionals with employers who are invested in Oklahoma. Members can post positions on the job board at no cost, while non-members may submit listings for only $25. All postings are public and free to browse. Whether you’re actively hiring or simply planning for the future, it’s a resource worth keeping in mind.
Share your story with a blog feature. OFBO is always looking for opportunities to highlight the work our members are doing across the state. A featured blog post is a great way to spotlight your organization, whether it’s showcasing community giving initiatives or sharing insights from a member of your team. These member features are shared across OFBO’s social media channels each month, helping to introduce your story to a wider audience. If you have a unique story to tell, let us know by emailing collins@plprglobal.com.
Mark your calendar for the legislative luncheon. Our annual legislative luncheon will return this spring, offering members the opportunity to meet their representatives and serve as an expert resource for lawmakers. More details will be shared soon, but one thing’s for certain: this is one event you won’t want to miss.
Beyond these core benefits, OFBO’s partnership with the Oklahoma School of Science and Mathematics (OSSM) has created new opportunities for members to give back. OSSM is the venue for OFBO’s monthly meetings, bringing several perks including free parking and easy highway access. In exchange, members have the opportunity to engage with tomorrow’s engineering talent pipeline through mentorship and class presentations. For more on how you can connect with OSSM students, contact collins@plprglobal.com.
If you haven’t already, now is the time to renew your dues for the year to ensure you don’t miss out on any of these member benefits. For more information about renewal or membership, contact Emily Lang or Callie Collins.
